Who is going to Blue/Gray this year?

#1

Post by John H. » Fri Jan 11, 2019 1:10 pm

OK, just about a month away, so it's time for the usual question of who is going to be there. This will be a while for me, since the last one I went to was at the Ramada a few years back. Despite it's shortcomings, I actually liked the Ramada. It suited our needs and I liked the layout of it. Hopefully, I will come to like the new hotel. I'll be arriving Tuesday evening and I hope to see many friends I haven't seen in a while. For those who are going, I'll see you there!

Melanie and I will be there. Still love this show though very different. Will be there on Wednesday instead of Thursday as every other year.

Different, but still fun. A lot more breweriana and shine than rust it seems. I'll have some inexpensive rust, a few really good cans, and totes of micros.

I'll probably come out on a one-day looting run, most likely Friday.

Brian Debraccio and I will be there Tuesday. By time Beverix gets there I'll have all the good stuff. I heard more than 25 rooms reserved for Tuesday night. No its not the same. Memories of the old show passed on with Ray Johnson, although the last couple of years at the Ramada were disappointing. Bring your stuff, all of it! Plenty of space to set up and room to room goes all weekend. Great hospitality room!

I will be there for a couple days. This show as mentioned above is different but still great. Since it is a five minute cab ride from Dulles Airport it has the potential to get very large again. I have gone now 20 years in a row. I always have a great time.

Not looking very likely that Beer Cans Plus will be there. There is however still a slight chance. Darn job may be getting in the way this year.

Are either of you bringing any Quarts?!? Between the 2 of you I have picked up some nice ones over the last several years. Please PM me if you are bringing anything “interesting.”
