Indiana zip top composite list and need for a full zip top composite list

#1

Post by keithker » Sat Aug 04, 2018 3:23 pm

A member of the Rusty Bunch Facebook page Joe Zeller has posted an Indiana zip top composite list. Was hoping some fellow members could confirm that it is all inclusive, has errors or is missing additional known zip tops....This topic also brings on the further discussion to see if there is a more fully completed version of a zip top composite list out there.....if not is there anybody that would like to be the zip top composite coordinator?

Here is the Indiana zip top list

I have the Home Ale tab in USBC-II. It is a fan tab, *not* a zip...

All ideas for composite lists are appreciated. This one sounds like it will be a real asset, as there are so many collectors who are after them now. Seeing the handwritten pages reminds me of what I had to start with for the CO composite list, although it was typewritten. A few suggestions:

The Excel spreadsheet is a perfect format for lists. Very easy to make additions to when new cans are discovered. You can format your own or download a preformatted version in the composite forum

Decide how much detail you want in your list. Is it for any zip, or do you want to break it down to the various zip designs. For example, is the zip a first generation lip ripper or the last generation U-tab? Do you want to list mandatories and can codes?

Either way your idea is a great one and I encourage you to get it started.
