Getting the GTO prepped for the Columbus Good Guys National Hot Rod Show the weekend after the 4th.
With inspiration from ZipHippie Bjorn, I fabricated some gage pods for my temp & oil pressure gages and made a custom overflow bottle.
I always bring a tote full of runout cans to the car show to work on to pass the time....car guys love the vintage cans.

That is cool!

Great thread. While I enjoy beer cans, cars are my real passion. Here's a pic of me with my wife's cobra and my red king cobra
Here's a pic of the latest project that was just recently released from paint prison.

So do you still own it? It is a great looking coupe. I have some pictures of me as a teenager in my Mustang somewhere. The picture of my car in this thread was taken in early July of this year. However, I've owned it since 1986.

I had that car my senior year of high school and freshman year of college. It looked pretty nice but upon closer inspection you could see too much bondo had been used during a previous restoration. In college, the front suspension needed a fair amount of work so I traded it in on a used white Mazda RX-7 like the one below. I loved that Mazda and kept it until shortly after I graduated from college.
