That sold a long time ago. Dan's been putting up six pictures of each can for quite a few years now.

Historical price from dealers website.
For what it’s worth, I had a 1/1+ original Arrowhead in the collection I sold in 1998. Don’t know where it ended up, but I knew Bob McCoy and he already had one at the time.

Was tracking that dumbell Stag can as a potential addition to the "can'ts". However, I think it was intended to be a real beer can, and they even say the bank slot in the top was a hacked in afterthought......so....it fell off the list.

The body of a conetop , I thought the opening $50 was too much , appears the paint was stressed where the can was widened .
hard to believe someone really paid $500 for that .

I saw two very nice cans on eBay today. A Brau Haus OI and English Lad Beer OI. Anyone know if there was a find of either of these generally tough labels. Good Guys found some Ale cans, but I don’t think they had beers, and some guy found a handful of the Brau Haus cans but sold them at the Canvention in Cleveland. Just curious - I think the English Lad beer is harder than the Ale, but I’m curious if others agree...

Besides Rawley's find their was a large find of clean dumper Brau Haus O/I's a few years ago. Some appeared to be grade 1. A search in here may find the Story. LEON.

I'm not familiar with that can but given the condition, I wonder if that price was higher than the can would typically sell for.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

Kevin cites three quality examples of the Iron City OI in USBC-OI, but I've only seen one in all my years of collecting. I'd never seen an indoor offgrade can until this one hit eBay, and I can count the decent dumpers I've seen on my thumbs. I was hoping to snag the eBay can in the neighborhood of $6K, but I was apparently delusional.

I have a hard time wanting to pay $8k for any can that isn’t grade one or better. While this can is clearly an indoor example, it appears to have a lot of scratches and marks which to me has a great effect on value. My two cents - this is a very rare label.

I think it would clean up some & the one side with out the scratches wouldn't then look to bad after a cleaning. There was a well known Pennsylvania collector/Dealer (forgot his name) that had one similar to this, maybe better for $5,000 about 5 or 5+ years ago. LEON.

Wasn't that closer to 20 years ago? I believe the Rogalski Brothers bought that can and then sold it for $9,000.

I wonder if the price has to do with being from South Bend instead of Detroit. I have both flats and I remember one being harder than the other but I do not recall which. Plus, of course, the high premium for super mint cans.

I may be wrong but it sure looks like the common Pfeiffer pictured in the book #108-19. Priced at $2.00 in book. But as soon as it's clean with tab intact that automatically adds $200+ to any can. Don't it :smt017

Deal or No Deal?

So I pick up the can below on Ebay recently. USBC II # 95-40. $33 winning bid, plus the sellers way overpriced shipping of $9.50, plus $2.98 tax, for a grand total of $45.48

Can arrives, in great condition, looks all original to me. Split tan/green outline can, bottom opened. Isn't this a $200+ can? Am I missing something or did I snag a great Ebay deal?

Flats, cones & early tabs. Ohio cans, ultra clean cans & shine. East coast cans. Rare rust. And, whatever else catches my eye.
