Northwoods Sodas

#1

Post by Rusty Jonesin »

Here's a few more pics from my Northwoods adventure back in October with Jon, Patrick, Neil, Bob, and Beamer.

First time I ended up with more soda cans than beer cans. Partly because out of the six of us dumping I'm the only one that actively collect sodas.
At one time we were all in this good sized 60's dump which was mostly soda, and everyone would say "Hey Rusty, You want this one" and I would say "Sure, throw it over" :smt023

The Seven Up is later has a barcode I thought the button top was unique? Roachy old Diet Pepsi dog bone, I don't understand exactly how the numbering system works in the soda book but in the 2nd edition this Sun Rise can is like the second 1G-S1480-1(190-2) only this one is a Pull tab

I really like the Aluminum checkerboard Coke, Thanks again Jon. Also the Nu Grape I have the older one and this appears to be a tough variation as well. The Tropic Surf is a cool can I was surprised by the value of this one. Must not have gone over very well for Pepsi. Donald Ducks are always fun to dig I got four flavors, wish they were all as nice as this Cola.

I had a great time cleaning these checking the book and going through em. I think it was a pretty good soda haul. The only problem is I am out of room for sodas.

Hope you enjoy the pics,
Happy New Year!! and Here's to Lots of mud on your boots in 2017

Thanks Guys!
I appreciate the interest in the cans, but I am going to keep these.
I will eventually make more space for my collection.

Daniel, Yeah, Castle Danger is just south of Split Rock. Very cool area.
