Mission quarts are very rare but yours is not unique. There are at least 4 flavors black cherry, creme soda, orange and root beer.

COOL THANKS FOR THE INFO, WE DUMP THE PAINTED LABEL BOTTLES OFTEN, AND SEEN THE FLATS, BUT NEVER KNEW IT CAME IN A QUART, PRETTY NEET QUART. IT THREW ME OFF. I USUALLY CAN GUESS MY MYSTERYS IN A DUMP, AND IM USUALLY 99.9 SPOT ON. I THOUGHT IT WAS A UTICA CLUB SPARKLING QUART, ALL I SAW WAS THE BLUE AND WORD SPARKLING.

Interesting! Is that one of the paper label prototypes I have heard about but never seen?

This is not a paper label, this is the real deal.

Hi Dan,
I thought that Pabst can was a foil label. Are there two of those? I was only aware of one that I tried to aquire a couple of years ago...
The Mission quart is a very tough can - you rarely see offgrade examples. There are only a handful of on-grade ones!
Thanks for the pics!
Dave
I collect one flavor of rare soda can generations. Also publish Collectible Soda Cans - don't hesitate to contact me with cans you have available or questions about old soda cans.

Dave - you are right the one I keep hearing about is a foil label not a paper label like I wrote above and someone in Wisconsin has it.

This is the same can, but I do not remember it being a foil label, I am almost positive this is original with no foil label? Maybe I will check it out again?

Almost looks like paper label because of that line under top rim, the foil labels I thought were much thinner & brittle like foil? LEON.
