Re: New Acquisition Wednesday
I didn’t see any soda blanks but I flipped through the two foot stack of commemoratives in about three minutes. They wanted $5 each and the Blatz, Miller, Schlitz were pulled out previous to the sale. Look past the obvious, there is a test can in plain sight- it took me three looks before I figured it out. Re: New Acquisition Wednesday
Picked this up through RB FB page. The price was right and Carl S is world class.

Why drive 12 hour one way to dig Pre-Tax Tru Blu ales, Genny 12 Horse Longopeners, Gamecock Ales, Apollos, Neuweilers Bock, and Krueger’s Baldies when you can locally drive 10 hours round trip and dig Pfeiffer, Goebel, Drewrys and Strohs?

Re: New Acquisition Wednesday
My indoor one is 3 patent numbers. This dumper is others pending.
Anyway; I collect dumpers of tough cans if the price is right. Too many times I get rid of an expensive indoor can and wish I had an affordable dumper

Re: New Acquisition Wednesday
Picked up a new Michigan Beer Bottle. I already had it in a Amber pint or 12 oz. Bottle, The Bottle on right. Just got in the Mail Today the bigger Aqua Quart on left. Both these bottles date to around 1906-1912 time frame & they both have there original Paper Label which is very hard to find on any Pre Pro Bottle. Better Yet, If you look these Labels up in Bob Kays Michigan Label Book you'll see he gives these the highest Rarity Rating there is in his book which is Z. The more common labels get rated from A-D with A being the most Common. Most pre Pro Labels are rated D. Z is only for super Rare labels with only 1-5 known to exist. LEON.

Re: New Acquisition Wednesday
An innocent looking Country Club - but the early 16oz Malt Lager, made a deal with a friend to acquire it. Very happy to upgrade my prior shelf can that was one of the better cans from an offgrade find of 6 or so some years ago.
Collector of Nebraska cans and breweriana, Colorado cans, tall straight steel US cans, and cans I like!

Re: New Acquisition Wednesday
Always was curious about this can. Was amongst a bunch of commons in a collection being sold on Craigslist. I asked guy if he only wanted to sell this can and he agreed after having no luck selling the whole collection. Came in the mail today.
