Labor Day Adventures
Re hit an area that we hit a few years ago. Scatter dumps on both sides of an old 2 track. Found some mystery cans that looked good enough for me to keep and some pretty roached cones. I also managed to find a decent sized trash pile that was right where I parked. Usual 1959-61 era stuff. Pfeiffer tear drops, Tudor, and Drewrys. However I found some white embassy club flats that I’ve never found before so that alone made the trip. I could do a lot more digging here if I want to. Last spot was a bust, although I didn’t go too far into the woods as the mosquitoes were miserable. Place had cans written all over it, as there used to be 2 houses there. I’ll need to hit this in the early spring.

Nice going as usual bud. Don’t let them mosquitoes bother you. We deal with them on every single hunt.

Re: Labor Day Adventures
I could tell from the picture on your Facebook post that those Embassy Clubs are going to clean up nice. Congrats on a first time dig on those!

Re: Labor Day Adventures
I know I got one good one for sure. I kept finding them with one good side and the rest was rust. Didn’t leave until I found a good one.

Re: Labor Day Adventures
This is a perfect example of one of the rusty bunch dumping do’s.
Return to where you’ve found cans before.

Re: Labor Day Adventures
Finished product.
Keeping the best Embassy club (either middle or right). Need to check if pfeiffer is a variation I need (not likely). Rest are going to the totes.
The mystery cans were 1949 Schlitz, 1 sided Milwaukee Blatz, Johnny pfeiffer, and Champagne Valvet Cones.
