Back again

Post by Jay »

Since I arrived back to Missouri recently I have not had much time to poke around for rust. On my way to pick up a neon sign I bought on Craigslist I saw a two track on forest land that I could not pass up. There was a good sized dump which was all mid 60s to early 70s. Mostly all sodas with some common Missouri nationals. I did manage a 12 pack of Mountain Dew hillbilly tabs and insert tops as well as some of these cool outboard oil pull tops. I’ll try it again this fall. These still need a soak.

Good to see you posting again Jay! The Hillbilly cans seem a fitting welcoming salvo to your return. Looking forward to your future adventures; perhaps a Triangle is in the cards.

Why drive 12 hour one way to dig Pre-Tax Tru Blu ales, Genny 12 Horse Longopeners, Gamecock Ales, Apollos, Neuweilers Bock, and Krueger’s Baldies when you can locally drive 10 hours round trip and dig Pfeiffer, Goebel, Drewrys and Strohs?

I came back here to retire. I’m now a permanent resident of Missouri. I wont be leaving here, I have two years until retirement and my oldest is looking forward to Missouri S&T in Rolla. Looking forward to some time in the woods.
