I found this Hamms can over the Weekend and just now cleaned it and noticed it says KAN KEGS instead of KEGLINED. What’s the story and History on that?

So I grabbed the last Gold Hamms I dug on the left and I noticed the KAN KEGS on the right is slightly different other than the IRTP. Notice the double line at top sits higher than the KEGLINED can on the left.
Kan Kegs ????

I don't know the story or history on the Kan Kegs but I know that I now have another Hamm's variation I need to find for my collection. Good Find!

Re: Kan Kegs ????
Kan Kegs was the trademark for Pacific Can Co. in the 1950s. A number of west coast brewers used them - especially Acme, Great Falls, Lucky, and others, but I've never seen a Hamm's of that vintage with it.

Hmmm, I started to say it was just a can cut differently and then I noticed the IRTP vs non-IRTP verbiage near the bottom front.

Haha I even said IRTP in my post. I’m having a good laugh over this as my wife’s voice keeps echoing in my head saying “ reading is fundamental “.stringsx24now wrote:Hmmm, I started to say it was just a can cut differently and then I noticed the IRTP vs non-IRTP verbiage near the bottom front.
