I bought it. It was pretty rough. The first of four Centlivres I cycled through. Not sure that particular can would bring that price today...

A few months into their sale I called them up and worked a deal on these two. Maybe I caught them on a good day, but I thought that $300 a piece was a pretty good bargain. I'll probably never be able to upgrade.

Years prior, they talked me out of my Fredericks 4-Crown OI, which I had dug at Lake of the Ozarks around 1983. I've never been able to replace it. Anyone know who got that can?

for some reason I've seen a few nice dumper Old Wisconsins go for what I think was cheap, back around the time Lewandowskis sold you that Old Wisconsin pretty sure I bought mine in similar condition from Marc Tracy for around $200 or $250. And years later when I sold it that's about all I got for it. BUT, Never seen any Ilsner in that shape for $300. I think you stole that one. LEON.

My Old Wisconsin had a big hole in the back, mostly on the seam, but still a big hole. I've been looking to put an Ilsner dumper on the shelf again, and the only two I've seen were lower grade than John's and several times the price.

Plenty of nicely packed boxes would frequent my maillbox during that LEW Twins sell off and some nice rare labels... Buckinham, Trumps, a real nice TAm Lager, had one of their Kents , 12 Horse LO until I dig one myself to replace it . those repainted Edel Brews and New Yorkers.. all long gone now except the dumped 12 Horse .. fun times
