39 for me - anyone that knows John Bussey would know he was tracking having been in every COUNTY in the country. I remember he showed me his color hightlighted map - what an undertaking that is!

Re: How many US states have you visited?
Never been farther east of the Midwest than Indiana and when I get the time I go west. Hitting all 50 states would make me visit states for which I have no interest. I want some day to visit the extreme northeast and maritime Canadian provinces like Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Labrador, New Brunswick.

Re: How many US states have you visited?
I remember when John showed up to BG in early 2000's with his Toyota pickup RV.... What a guy!!!! Talked about the Counties for quite some time.
We have traveled for many years by RV but was always based on what we like to do so as far as states we have only visited 31.
Alaska is in the near future with a fun 2 month journey.

Re: How many US states have you visited?
Ummm, Let see here I visit
MN
MI- Upper(a few time) & Lower ( 2)
S.D.
Illinois
Iowa
Indiana
MO
Ark
Texas ( A few Time)
California
Kansas
OK
So I still have long way to go.
However, I have a question For those who been over 45 states, Were you looking for breweriana stuff while traveling ??
If you stop each state for a rest, Did you try to drink craft beer that brewed in that state. For example- You stop and rest in state of Iowa, and want to drink beer that only brewed in Iowa. ??
I haven't done all of it. When I was in Michigan- a few month ago- I tried to drink craft beer that only brewed in Mich.

Much colder (imagine that!) and WAY windier. ND in winter is not for the faint of heart. Builds character, though.

Re: How many US states have you visited?
About 40 states.
North America (U.S. & Canada)
Central America (Mexico & Dominican Republic)
South America (Peru)
Europe (Germany, France, Austria, Czech Republic)
Since I do not drink alcohol, I do not focus on that while traveling. I do especially enjoy Minor League baseball and have been to 20 stadiums.

You should really see South Dakota. You got MT Rushmore and the Sturges Bike rally and some of the best fishing in the Midwest...It just is a sleeper state that no one knows about. Just saying

Thanks Brent! I haven't avoided the last three states - just haven't had reason to be there specifically ... yet.Brent Gesland wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 1:30 amYou should really see South Dakota. I do want to knock out the last three soon. I still have 3 continents to see.. I've been to Europe, Africa and Asia, but so far no South America, Australia or Antartica. I don't know if that last one's gonna work out.
