Variety of Alaska Beer can’s for 2019
I was asked when I would share a photo of the beer can’s I’ve been digging lately.
Seems perfect timing now as I’m waiting for the girls to wake up so we can go dig more.
This is just some of the Beer cans from April and May as of 12 May 2019 ]]]]

I'm surprised you don't find more Canadian cans from there being so close to Canada. LEON.

Re: Variety of Alaska Beer can’s for 2019
Three military bases in a 100 mile stretch would account for the variety of cans from 1942-1960’s when the sections where abandoned.Leon wrote:Hmmmmm, That's Interesting. a Detroit Colt 45 way over there. LEON.
That’s my take on it. All these military guys traveling from the states up here bringing cases of their own favorite brand of Beer

Re: Variety of Alaska Beer can’s for 2019
If you find a Colt 45 with out the thin silver trim around name & # & totally flat top zip top (no smile beads or instructions) then you found a older much tougher variation. Something to look for on these. LEON.

Re: Variety of Alaska Beer can’s for 2019
Daniel, was talking about the one like the one I sold in here in 2015. Link below. That one is actually 2nd variation with instructions on lid, It also comes with no instructions on top lid. Re: Variety of Alaska Beer can’s for 2019
Here's my 2 from my collection, 2 different ones. The first variation on right, no instructions on top lid, flat with no smile beads (very tough) & 2nd variation on left, instructions on top but no smile beads. Notice Keglined runs up along seam instead of along bottom rim. The bluish or bluish purple letters in COLT 45 have no silver outline. LEON.
