Post by kb »

Got up to ADKs with digger a little while ago , goal was to make it to a Lake we tried for last spring but got detoured by other lakes , a few spots left most of us haven’t been to .. found a few dumps on little banks and hidden by the big rocks .. pretty cool finding cans from home that we have never really dug before .. Great variety. Were there more like these or were they all one of a kind? Was this someone’s old collection?

in the main dump , we dug quite a few Simon Pures and Kochs, but they are too metallically and basically only took what we thought we be decent. The lone 12 Horse OI was non IRTP came from same dump, along with DWights Congress, we had a couple other Congress's that we could ID by the scene on side of can but as they layed in keeper piles must of rusted over and we left them behind.. then we popped the Indian Head IRO can which was cool. Think Dwights was a mystery and came out real nice. We tried to get some better cans with color in dirt for a pic but they were always green and red Tudors and Black Labels. Lots of the gold and striped Genny cans. Packed up and driving away saw some big tires on other side of road and initially just using my boots I kicked up some Naturally More Refresing tabs then a flat, so we got diggers out and out pops the cleanest little flat and dont believe it and say it rhymes with Dwight... a really clean Gluek Stite 8oz, which I threw to the top of this little bank.. as we dug in out came the IBI Iros and a bunch of silver ringed Genny Natuarally More Refreshing flats, then the Keglets and Schmidts of Phiolly Beers.. we threw those cans to the bottom of bank and forgot all about the Stite 8 oz, until I saw Durtbaggs online show totes and realized its still up in the ADKs ... prior to this I only dug a Simon Pure once and never the other home town cans, so pretty cool.

I think that Iroqious Beer is a fairly tough flat.
