International Soda Can guide

#1

Post by dtsoc »

Hi everyone,

I'd like to develop a print edition and am looking for input on international can pricing and/or missing cans. I have seen a lot of banter on various boards about this and would like some input, particularly from collectors out of the US. Anyone interested?

Thanks,
Dave Tanner

Definitely. I can at least let you know what I paid for mine. I don’t have a lot but maybe 100 from different countries. Let me know where or how I can help and I am definitely interested in purchasing a hard copy. You want a pic of what I have so you can determine if you need more pics?

Thank you for the offers. What I was thinking was to share an updated pdf in the next couple of weeks and use a google doc to share pricing feedback with the group. Would that work for you?

That would be helpful - especially upgrading pics or adding seam pics to older cans.

Google doc is definitely the way to go, allows us all to work on it concurrently.

FYI at one point I had about 30,000+ foreign cans, I pretty much remember most values :)

I would like to help as well. I have over 100 non US flat top soda cans in my collection. I can take multiple pictures of all my cans individually as there are many minor variations of these I have noticed. How would you like to proceed?

Dave,

I'm also doing a general read-through and identifying some spellings errors, etc.
