I have a feeling that the Red Letter Dawson's cost you some labor in Brimfield Mass yesterday. Maybe a new garage opening? HAHA Woodman

Woody is always correct and I never seem to make much money in Brimfield but I have lots of fun there since 2000 and always a great time!!!!!.

I always thought the Quart cones were the coolest cans ever made and still believe that...When a non collector sees one of those they are so surprised and ask questions as WHY?? would a brewery do that...

I don't have very many quarts and would like to add a few but they get a little expensive but I have seen a few deals now and then and you have to grab them when that happens..

I think your side collection is awesome :smt023

Brent,

I blame (and thank) Dave Lewandowski. Honestly, I've been treating them like a side collection the past few years, but I am making them the priority again.

I look at it like this. I walk around a show two or three times, looking for my primary collection... Then all chaos breaks out, looking for my 2nd and 3rd side collections...
Great cans!!

Nice trio there Steve. That Dawson's is tougher than most realize. The Bluecrest is no slouch either. Good luck with the side collection...
Thanks. Dave

Thanks Dave.... Us New England guys think only 3 of the Dawson's may exist and this being the second best for at least now. Ya never know what will turn up.

Definitely more than 3 out there. Pbama turned up a rough dumper recently in a collection he acquired. It was in a recent thread here on this site. I also have a dumper. Menke said he has personally seen 6 in different collections. Me guess would be at least a dozen known.

Here's the thread.

Side collections are neat! I started quarts a few years back and now I'm up to 15. Of course the more you get, the more expensive they become; that's OK tough, because I'm happy with what I have! The latest slide I've added to the collection is mini bottles (not necessarily salt & pepper shakers). I now have about 40 of those. Can't wait for the next side collection to rear it's head in front of me!
