Bottle and Collectible Show and Soda Cans??
I’ve posted this information before and as a reminder here it is again. Tri- Cities/ East Tennessee beautiful Mountains, Dollywood/Pigeon Forge, Home of Mountain Dew, Country Music and Bristol Baby!! Every year for the past 21 our club has held a bottle and collectible show at the Gray, TN fairgrounds. Along with bottles there are signs, jars, advertising, and lots of other collectibles like Old toys and Dinosaur bones! Check out our club at SFABCA.com. We have members from 6 different states and produce a monthly newsletter, hold an annual picnic and Christmas party along with monthly meetings with contests and live auctions. Good fun. Anyway, I wanted to toss out the idea of a soda can show during the same time as the bottle show since there seems to be a lot of interest in soda cans but no one stepping up to the plate to hold shows. Also please keep in mind I am not officially committing to this but thought I would test the waters and inquire with those seasoned in hosting shows to see what would be required or involved in setting this up? The bottle show is always held the first Saturday in May and is typically on the 4th. That being said, if I organized a soda can trade show in a building close to the bottle show on the fairgrounds would there be enough interest for people to travel to East Tennessee for a show and what if anything would be needed for me to generate enough interest for people to travel to this show? My thoughts are people attending the bottle show would support the can show and can show support bottles. Thought I would toss this out and see what kind of response I get before moving forward. Please keep in mind that if anything is decided it would not happen till May 2020. Any and all thoughts and input would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like fun but it's too far of a drive for me. I hope you are able to continue growing interest down there.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.
