Fox DeLuxe Quart Cone (MI) and Four Others...

#1

Post by Wheaton »

Five cans for sale. Take a look and ask any questions you may have. I'm not going to spend a lot of time enumerating defects here - if there's something you want, I'll either provide better pictures or better descriptions. All are indoor with minor defects, Goebel 16 is the best of the bunch. Basically looking for the convenience of PayPal on these, so prices are discounted if you go with the friends and family option through PayPal. If you would rather send a check/money order, that's also fine - just go with the first price listed. As always, 100% no-questions money back guarantee if you don't like the can for any reason. Just let me know within one week of receipt. PM to claim a can - they go first to earliest timestamp.

Did I mention to ask questions? Please ask questions. There are three more pictures after the descriptions. Thanks.

Fox DeLuxe quart is Gd Rapids variety, and is in decent overall shape. Some nicking and whatnot, but colors are consistent and can is rust-free. Spout tarnished, bottom and seam pretty shiny. SOLD.

Schmidt's cone (Detroit) - SOLD nice clean label with even humidity graying to the metallic silver, which is common for this label. A few little humidity marks in the white region. Nice looking example, great colors, clean seam and bottom. $100, or $85 if using PayPal friends and family option.

Goebel 16oz - nice example. Bottom opened with shiny copper top lid. Bottom and seam also very nice. Some little nicks and humidity dots on face, barely noticeable from four feet away. $200, or $175 if using Paypal friends and family option.

Goebel Bantam, "Right From The Cypress Casks..." variety - first of the 8oz Bantams; in fact, first squat 8 known to have been produced in the USA (1950). Minor scattered defects, but great overall example. $45, or $35 if using PayPal friends and family option.

Goebel Bantam, "Nationally Famous..." variety - second in the lineage. Also a 1950 can, and note the change to the back panel. Scattered minor defects, solid overall example. $30, or $25 if using PayPal friends and family option.

For anyone who may be interested in the Fox Deluxe quart: Buy it! I have held this can in my hands and it is beautiful so you will not be disappointed.

Also, if you do buy it and you have a down grade, sell that one to me.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

I have questions:

Where have you been?
Where was your first kiss?
Who is your favorite person with a political nickname?
If you were a tree, how big would your trunk be?
Where are winters better, the North or the South?
In their prime - Kathy Ireland or Ann Margret
Lastly - good to see you sir!
