Interesting, what's the date on that. I live in Macomb County. I have the Malt Duck from Detroit in a Paper Bottle Label but always wondered if they made it here in a can (besides the 1 known test prototype can) LEON.

Here is some trivia for you. Dr. Robert Cade, the University of Florida professor who invented Gatorade, also worked on the formula for Hoppin' Gator for the Pittsburgh Brewing Company.

Cade was a fourth generation Texan, a WWII Navy veteran, a graduate of the University of Texas and UT Southwestern Medical School before he went on to be a professor at UF. He was responsible for many different products for both the medical and food industries.

Sprecher brewing has re-released Malt Duck. They have a Facebook page.

That facebook page was from March of last year. Wonder if the new Malt Duck is still around.
I think it would be awesome if they released MD in a small batch of sticker label pint cans, only sold at the brewery tasting room and then all but a handful were thrown away or recycled!
