I perused the Victory Culture paper, very scientific/interesting. I found a couple things interesting. first this block of crushed cans that they excavated: - who knows maybe the ones on the middle are still salvagable

then towards the end of the report part was this pic of the crusher at work.. another photo says 1927. - wonder if they were still crushing t hem in the early can era
