Need HELP finding replacement bulb for Burger sign

I have an old Burger beer light that has a 9" 6w flourescent bulb

The bulb I'm trying to replace is a "Ken-Rad" cool white 6 w

I bought a GE F6T5 and the diameter is just a LITTLE bit too big (there is a piece in the beer light that fits around the bulb

Maybe the diameter needs to be more like .5 instead of .6?... .. any suggestions for this?..

I sometimes replace flourescent bulbs with LED lights that you can buy at Walmart and Home Depot. Not sure if you
want to stray away from an original, just a thought.

I just did a quick google search and found several bulbs with your same number but with a / and some letters after it. Can't seem to find the bulb diameters though.
