IBC Show take-home

#1

Post by OctoberAle »

Another great show in the books. Here is my take, reflective of my continuing regrets over selling off the bulk of my Drewrys collection. Piece by piece it returns home. In many cases the exact cans I sold. Also picked up a few interesting odds and ends. The Jim Beam decanters lay flat to serve as ashtrays. A nice vintage poker chip set. Nifty IBC Crown Select bottle carton. Also added the first can to my new 4 oz. cone top collection. ...
Good to see everyone again!

Thanks, yes, me too. Pretty happy with the red Hudepohl too. The Iroquois was my surprise can of the show. The lighter fixture on it detaches and reattaches quite easily. :)

Nice group for sure! Red Top looks to be in stunning condition. Great Hudy can too.

Unfortunately (for me) I wasn't able to attend the Indy show this year. This is typically my favorite show of the year. Will be back in 2019!

Congrats on your pickups.

Flats, cones & early tabs. Ohio cans, ultra clean cans & shine. East coast cans. Rare rust. And, whatever else catches my eye.

Nice pick ups Steve! Wish I could have been there. For those that have been inquiring, everything is fine here. Moving and going through years of accumulation has put everything but work on hold. Haven't been to a show since the Mini- Can in June, and havent dumped since the trip to Aho's in May. Look forward to seeing my friends soon. Looks like my first chance to get to a show will be the Sunday After Thanksgiving show in Cincinnati.
