I dumped this in western Mass earlier this month. Have dumped National gallons from Baltimore several times, but this is my first Ballantine. I know it's not a rare can, but I'd like opinions on if it can be dedented enough to stand up on a shelf without blowing more holes into it. (There is a very big hole on one side already) Thanks, MarkB

Re: De-crushing Gallon
Not sure which dump I found this in.
#1 was near Warrenton. It was visible from the side of the road so I'm sure other RBers saw it before me, but it was 95%+ Naty Bohs and Black Labels so I suspect it was ignored. Hit it twice, one alone, once with Matt M. Found a few gems amid the dross: 7 oz Naty Boh Colt zips, white Valley Forges from Valley Forge Brewing, an 8 oz Schiltz ML with intact paper label (it was under a huge oil can lid), an Old German foam scraper, and best of all, a gold Naty Boh bock with white text.
#2 was near Mineral and other RBers found it before me. Candog directed me to it along with Curious George. But even the bit that was still undug gave up the gallon, Quizzie cans, some Naty Boh cones with the happy Mr. Boh, Hals, and some Monticello beers.
