Wax on Paint Off?

#1

Post by willssoda »

Been waxing cans for 40 years now s f never had any problems. Figure if you can put it on a $75k car you can put it on a beer or soda can. Found these two cans yesterday in Monroe NC and after waxing the Coke some of the ink/ paint came off guess it’s because it’s a foreign can. Lol.

I've found that waxing aluminum cans will ruin them, i.e. take the paint off. Anyone out there have a different experience waxing aluminum?

I use the cheapest all-purpose lemon scented cleaner that I can find.... and use it on 10+ cans a day.
