The Corona is an unusual flat top variation. I have heard of but not seen a similar tab.Tompinnacle-project wrote: ↑Sat Sep 08, 2018 5:52 am Tom, is the Corona a variation of a can you already had?
What did you bring home with you from Omaha?

Aho got the ABC tab from me. I don't know if it was a Wagner, I don't think so, but I guess I never really looked. Got it in a small collection a couple of years ago, just threw it in a tote. He was happy it was enamel.

Re: What did you bring home with you from Omaha?
Acquired way more cans than I usually do.
I don't know how many times the Gettleman was picked up in my room after I acquired it. I could have moved it several times over if I was so inclined.
The Fisher has a neat vanity lid, and is fresh from the store clean, I couldn't pass it up even though it is an easier flat.
I have been wanting a 16 oz Yankee forever, and this was super clean. The 16 oz Oly flat I have been keeping an eye open for a clean one for several years. I guess they mostly remain on the west coast.
When I lived in St. Louis, I kept telling myself I should really pick up some of the GB series cans. I didn't. Finally, 20 years later, I do.
Gotta love the American gallon and 5L cans. I do.
Didn't really think I was going to come home with a Congress can, but it was the right time and right price.
The Meister Beau Bock is just a tab, but metallic. I see 25-50 enamel for every one metallic. Now I don't need to look any further.
Building up my crowntainer section......slowly. Oh, and wax cups. Another little side collection going. My wife just shakes her head and rolls her eyes.
Had a blast in Omaha. Looking forward to Albequeque.

Better late than never. Here is my Canvention take, except for the Eigenbrot's which was waiting for me when I got back from Omaha. Some pre-war flats, a post-war OI, some nice Missouri additions, and a Donald Duck variation for the shelf:
