Stern Beau sign ..... Need info please!

A buddy is trying to buy this sign but has no idea the value, age, or rarity. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated! Anyone seen one?

I am not familiar with the value but it certainly is a beautiful sign. The color is great. I hope your friend is able to work out a deal.

From Belleville, Illinois, probably late 1930s through late 1940s. I see these around every now and then, but it's not a common sign like the Cooks from Evansville. I would say at least $200, and actually probably more than that to a southern Illinois collector because it looks to be in really good shape.

Looks like there is some touch up on it. mid 40's $600.00/$850.00

Cool sign. I agree it's 40's. I would say $350. Anything higher is a lot of money for a small sign from a brewery that isn't well known or has a lot of collector interest.
