Carlings WF Cone

#1

Post by Matt Menghini »

Many years ago (20+) I had the Carlings WF cone that is pictured at 156/25 - Probably the worst photo in the book. When I sold my old collection I returned that can to whoever had found it to start with. Now two decades later - look what now shows up, fresh from Japan! I'm pretty sure that makes two known. Anybody know otherwise?

I'm pretty sure Rustmonger Dave Babel found one thrown in the garbage can at Frankenmuth's Summerswap. This was about 20 years ago. LEON.

Awesome can Matt! I sent you a PM but it doesn't look like it's going through, it's still in outbox.

Thanks,
Ken

The system is working fine. It stays accessible by you in your Outbox until he opens it. Then, you will no longer be able to see it in your Outbox.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

2023 Shows Attended

* Michigan Chapter Winterfest, January 14, Frankenmuth Michigan
* Cabin Fever Reliever, February 24, Mishawaka Indiana
* Buckeye, March 11, Toledo Ohio
* SummerSwap, July 21 & 22, Frankenmuth Michigan

That story rings a bell with me too.
