For anyone that might collect sets of cans. The first picture is of the Labatt 1988 Olympic Commemorative set. I believe that's a complete set. Seldom see a complete set available. Each Winter Olympics is represented up until 1988. Here's a list:

1924-Chamonix, France
1928-St. Moritz, Switzerland
1932-Lake Placid, USA
1936-Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany
1948-St. Moritz, Switzerland
1952-Oslo, Norway
1956-Cortina D'Ampezzo, Italy
1960-Squaw Valley, USA
1964-Innsbruck, Austria
1968-Grenoble, France
1972-Sapporo, Japan
1976-Innsbruck, Austria
1980-Lake Placid, USA
1984-Sarajevo, Bosnia And Herzegovina
1988-Calgary, Canada

The Olympics set in Labatt 50 is especially difficult to assemble, or at least it was back at the time. Only distributed in Province of Quebec, which had very few local collectors. Set also came in Labatt's Light. Finally, I believe there is an import base can and an "error" base can in the Blue set and these were not difficult to find.

Al,

I was fortunate to pick up the set a few years ago at the Toledo show. Unfortunately, mine are damaged because some previous owner let them roll around loose in a box in his trunk. So there's paint rubbed off in rings around the tops of a couple. Anyway,
I was also lucky to find the imported can at the Frankenmuth show. Here's pics showing the differences.

Labatts 50 Olympiques.jpg
I do not know enough French... nor if this difference also happened on the Labatt Blue or Labatt Light sets, but on the Labatt 50 set I recall being told that one of these has a mistake (the one on the left without the "S" at the end of OLYMPIQUE?):
the one on the left "XVes JEUX OLYMPIQUE D'HIVER" whereas the one on the right "XVes JEUX OLYMPIQUES D'HIVER"

The one on the left also has the Canadian "tree" recycle logo whereas the one on the right does not...

@Mark (expired)

Yes that is true, left is a spelling mistake.
Jeux Olimpiques should have an "s" (Olympic Games)
