You are off to a great start.

I like the use of weathered wood for your cans. It looks good.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

Note that leaving them in front of the window will bleach the colors out, especially if it is a south facing window. Also, you will quickly realize that you will want to have the shelves closer together. If you don’t, the collection will grow too large too fast (it may anyways, but at a slower pace).

Nice collection, Kyle. I agree with the window and spacing comments.

I notice the Little Red Wagon collectible in the one picture. It reminds me of the time I went to Detroit Dragway for the "Battle of the Wheelstanders!" Saw the Wagon, L.A. Dart, Hemi Under Glass, Chuckwagon among others. As a bonus exhibition, they brought in the Hurst Hairy Olds (twin-engine, four-wheel-drive beast smoking all four tires the length of the track).

:smt007 That's a great workout for the ol' rust goggles! :smt007

I'm with Bryan... the weathered shelves make a great display for those weathered cones!

It's nice to see those rusty gems being displayed!
They look much nicer there, than sitting in a box forgotten!

The shelf is facing the north so it doesn't get any sunlight really. I got a couple more shelves just don't have the room for them. This isn't even have my cone top collection I got like 4 more boxes full.

I think they are awesome! I even see one I don't have in my collection.

How did that Badger flat top sneak in there?

Any amount of light will still fade your cans over time. Maybe put up some curtains.

I'll fix it. The badger is a 1000+ can and I was looking for 1000+ cans and I put it on a shelf because it's rare.

My favorites are the Fitzgerald quart and the Sheridan cone. I have neither in my collection. And congratulations on your 3rd place finish in the Michigan State Industrial Technology Education Award contest!

Love the NY lineup and you should be proud of the Bev crown! Took me a long time to get that can and probably never would have it if wasn't for Rustmonger and KB finding a dump full of them and bring a couple others along the next trip. That was one fun dump!......Wonder if that one came from there?
