Soda Show
Pardon my ignorance and I'm sure I could probably search the site and find the answer, but here it is. Is there a can show dedicated to sodas only? If so where and when? If not, would you attend if there was one?
Interested in all flat and Cone Soda and Water cans.

Re: Soda Show
The NPCC used to have 1 show every year called the Extravacanza and was usually attended by 20 or so members. But now that the club is basically dead there aren't any soda only shows that I am aware of other that the yearly Coca Cola and Pepsi shows.

Re: Soda Show
I was a NPCCA member and I think I have a roster. Wonder if it would be OK to contact those on the roster? Hasta, would you attend a show in Eastern Tennessee?

Re: Soda Show
The first NPCC show I attended was near Bristol Tennessee and the best one was near Nashville but it would depend on when it is as I have most of my vacation time planned already.
Not sure you know it but I ran the NPCC for 10 or so years and am contemplating seeing if Gene will hand it back over to me. Will need to think about it some more.

Re: Soda Show
I believe I may be able to get a electronic copy of the last NPCC roster if you are planning a show.

Re: Soda Show
Thanks! At this point just trying to see what kind of interest there would be. Our group holds an annual bottle show (mainly sodas) each year and I was kicking around the idea of combining or holding some sort of show the day before or after our show(always first weekend in May) Check out SFABCA.com. As far as time line it would be for 2019.

Re: Soda Show
I would assume beer can collecting is more popular than soda can collecting. What do you think is the ratio beer/soda? Rod

Re: Soda Show
Not sure the ratio, I am sure there is a big difference but what I do know is I buy a lot of sodas from beer can collectors and I have about 2500 beer cans in boxes my self along with a very nice natty BOH/ Maryland beer can collection. I also know that most collectors including myself collect other items like signs, bottles etc...and a lot of times these items pop-up at all types of shows including our annual bottle show. Im just hoping I could generate some interest to get a show started on its own or in conjunction with another show to increase traffic for both shows. I'm looking forward to lots of responses with great ideas and information. Thanks
