Does this mean all the Kent Ales were filled by the end of 1937? Are there any cans that are exceptions out there? Does anyone know how long this rule was actually enforced?

Eric,

Based on what they are found with, I'd guess many of the Kent Ales were filled around 1940, despite fact that the body blanks were produced in 1935.

Enforcement activities are unkown, but it's generally unwise to run afoul of government regulations on alcohol. Perhaps Krueger thought they could sneak the Kent Ales by, or, who knows, perhaps they were granted approval to use the existing stock on hand.

I don't know of other exceptions to this rule, but how do you date the sale of a given can exactly enough to be certain?
