Again, I could swear I remember seeing a couple of badly decomposed Pabst quarts at one dump (just enough remaining to see what they'd been once). I've definitely found plenty of Falstaff half-quarts, a few Millers, and several kinds of Jax (no black-and-red... THAT would be a dream discovery!)Tom Hoefer wrote:Flats

I'd love to know where you found a lot of these! There are a few brands here I've never seen dumping in southeast Louisiana. I wish this list was more oriented towards part of the state. You'd probably find a lot different stuff in the western side of the state than is found around New Orleans. This list is missing a few things I have seen. I've seen Spearman Ale (2 kinds) and Spearman Beer (the one with the kind of X label), Straight 8 Beer, 20 Grand Ale (Red Top), Seven Eleven (by Century in Norfolk), and Dixie (the "silver stripe" can that came after the 45's- I've seen a few of them in flats). I just wish my buddy I used to dump with was still alive- he found a lot of the weird stuff we came across (he was the lucky one), and I know there's a couple more oddball brands I've forgotten.

I've also seen Bon, Spearman Ale and Beer, and I could swear I remember seeing a handful of Goldcrest 51.

Pabst ten oz (three varieties)
Schlitz ten oz (seven varieties)
I've NEVER seen a Pabst 10 oz in a dump, and I don't think I've seen more than 1 or 2 at our chapter's shows over the years. I can add Falstaff 10 oz to this list (gold stripe can).
While Louisiana is small can heaven, I have never found a quart and the only pints are Bud and Schlitz (Tony Stice found a pint Jax here)
