Senior's Lifetime Parks Pass

#1

Post by MI-Cans »

I came across this just today. If you're over 62, you can purchase a lifetime pass to the National Parks and Federal Recreation lands. The cost is $10. (If you choose to get one online, it's an additional $10 for processing.) I bring this up because on August 28th, the price will jump to $80.00. As long as your application is dated before that date, you'll get the pass for $10. Obviously, there's a huge rush on right now, and they're saying 12 weeks to process the orders. I ordered mine on line today and can use my email receipt to access their facilities until the pass shows up. I know there's a couple of you out there that might be close to 62 years old. Just passing this info along...

If you happen to live near a National Park, National Lakeshore, National Monument, etc., you can buy one there too. It's definitely a bargain.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

Yeah, definitely a bargain right now.

Even if you never get to one of those facilities in the near future, it is a LIFETIME pass. Better to get it before the deadline instead of forking over $80 for either a Senior Lifetime pass sometime in the future but after the deadline or just an Annual pass for the same amount.
