Kyle and I were shooting for hours today.

Ruger 10/.22LR
Rossi .22 trifecta
My Henry .22mag
Remington.22 mag
Ruger super redhawk.44 mag
S&W .380 bodyguard

Also shot another card in half with the .22 open sights. 15 feet.
Ice jugs were hit at 20ft with the handguns and my Henry took out the 50-60ft jug at open sights

Man, to have young eyes. I prefer open sights, but ones eyesight changes over the years. You didn't happen to do a video of the Ruger blowing up the jugs? That'd be cool to watch.

Bought this CVA .45 cal. mini black powder navel cannon kit on Ebay awhile back.
I saw one of these at a Best products store back when I was teen and thought it was cool.
Took my time putting it together and finished it today.
I thought it would be cool to take pics. of the assembly piece by piece.
I havent fired it yet but here is link to youtube video of same cannon being fired.

You did a great job with that. Looks great. You HAVE to fire it off on July 4th, for sure.

My Uncle had something similar when we were kids. He put a shotgun shell "blank" in the cannon and attached a line so he could fire it from several feet away. The explosion was so loud that the neighbor's dog literally dropped dead (probably from a heart attack). Exercise caution.

Thanks and great idea, might take a while for a 21 gun salute though.

Gonna start off with 15 grains of Pyrodex for a start, judging from the video recoil is a factor.

Very cool cannon! Not sure if you ever fired anything with black powder but the single most important thing is to seat the projectile tight with the powder. If you leave a airspace you make a bomb. I'm guessing you have but just in case.....Make sure you video it for us!

been shooting black powder guns for years, single shot dueling pistols, revolvers, rifles.
Would love to get a flint lock kentucky rifle.
Allways good to review safety though.
Ive marked a dowel with the barrel depth empty and will than mark it charged, once the ball is placed I will have the reference marks to show if the shot is down far enough. still gonna give myself plenty burn time on the fuse to get back the first shot.
I will film it.
Good hearing from you Mike!

My brother lent me his Ruger .357 Blackhawk to shoot on my next range outing. The trigger on this pistol is wonderful.

One of my newest toys. A magnum research BFR in 45-70. Pictured next to a Ruger Blackhawk 44 mag to show size. Leaving for the range in a little while to have fun with it and a few others.

Yeah nice sig! we can't have AR or AK pistols in NY. I have a older shield that is my primary carry gun. It has a safety but don't think i have ever used it.

My brother pulled this out of his gun safe. My late mother's High Standard Sport King. I haven't shot this 22 in a very long time. Gave it a thorough cleaning, and will put it through its paces on my next trip to the range. She was one hell of a shot with this pistol!

Spent some time with the 22 TCM this last weekend. Not as impressive as Daniels 454, it's just a .22 in broad daylight.
