Here is a picture of my 70 Challenger R/T. It is a convertable 440 4 speed car, not very many of these versions made at all. It was 17k about 10 years ago when I got it and it has been restored. New top, new paint (frame off) new seats and any other thing that needed it over the years. Never really liked the color, but wanted to keep the color original. Almost time to get her out and drop the top!

After watching the Barrett Jackson auction, it is tempting to see what she would bring. I have had a few very heavy offers, but still holding. I am shocked at what the old muscle cars are bringing price wise now. I would like to get a 67 Camaro like I had in high school. It was stolen in Youngstown, Ohio one night and never saw it again. Notice the "little red barn down in Indiana" in the background. (1980)
Or I would trade for a 70 Trans Am ram air 3. White with the blue stripe. Always wanted one.
And no I probably would not trade for a beercan unless it was to cash it in after holding it a while. I think the car is a much safer investment though! The nice things about the cans is that I can look at them every day whereas the car is covered in storage.

Here's a few I went thru in the last year:
440 Six Pack:
Just waking up from a loooong nap:
Still have this one $7000 and it's yours:
Another one fresh out of a garage in a cruddy neighborhood, cops thought I was there to score drugs:
Sold this to a guy who died before the plates even came in. Guess I gave him a killer deal?:

Hooper: "That's a 20 footer!"
Quint: "Twenty-five. Three tons of him, eat a man whole."

My convertable Challenger (in pix above) will probably be going on EBAY this weekend. Should be very interesting. It was appraised by KRUSE at the huge KRUSE auction in Auburn Indiana a few months ago, and it was so good, that we will see what the market will bring.

Will do Leon. I just finished the listing tonight, and it will go up on sunday night at 10:00pm. I will post the link. I don't think it will meet the reserve, but it will be interesting if it does. Last year in Columbus at the Mopar nationals had a really good offer 70-80 and should have took it. It is one of only 34 made with that combination. Challenger RT 440 4-speed convertable. Only 163 built and 129 were automatics and 34 were 4 speeds. (its original, not a clone)
It looks like it will be listed now on Wed or Thursday. I am checking the transmission to see if it is numbers matching to the car now. (18-23 spline?) I want to make sure the listing is accurate am getting the numbers off it.

Leon I was reading a Mopar mag from the early '80s that mentioned a pair of St. Louis Blues Barracudas. Ever heard of one? Should fall in the same category as your Bengal Charger and I've heard of a Detroit Red Wings car (factory sunroof RoadRunner?) owned by Gordie Howe.
