I remember that as well. If I remember the story, a youngster came to a show with two or three dumped near Rockford. Was the original source of the story one of the Lewandowski brothers? Anybody else remember?

Since I live in Rockford, I guess I'll start digging in my back yard and fan out from there!!

Buddy Baker found several indoor Green Metz flats from Omaha, when a Chicago Bar was closing down and the owners father said that they sold that brand back in the 50's.
Being an X-Nebraska native that find always suprised me.
