How do I insert pictures to a new topic post?

I am about to create my first new topic post, but am not able to insert a picture into the post. Would anyone be able to tell me how to do so? I see the button to attach pictures, but I would like to insert the pictures rather than have attachments. Thank you, George

If you are hosting the photos use the IMG tags with URL to the photos.
