Dave,
Here are some from the recently aquired collection that either were not n the book or you didn't have a picture of one. If you want close-ups of any let me know.
These cans needed both sides to be shown:
All of these cans are SS, Zip code (except the Ka-Hiki Punch) and no bar codes.
Are any of these needed for the 2009 book?

The White Lightning in the book (W360-7) is a barcode can, none of these pictured here have barcodes.
I have included this picture of the Elf cans simply because the flavors were not listed with E140-7A.

Hey Pokey,
Thanks - I will have to take a look. The Ka-Hiki is the only good can in the group - it is a better pic than I have. The others are all very common - not sure if they are all pictured or not.
Thanks again!
Dave

I collect one flavor of rare soda can generations. Also publish Collectible Soda Cans - don't hesitate to contact me with cans you have available or questions about old soda cans.

I think some of those are really cool - the Graf apple - the Chocolate solider - the more 60s/70s looking in my case - the better - I dont have a gatorade can either - though Ive seen them at the flea market before for a buck or two - just never picked one up - Ill have to dig up some decent cans so we can do a trade

if you post over on cerealbits.com under the non-cereal boxes for sale forum - I think you will get a lot of interest - these cans are pretty common - so if you could sell some of them off for a couple/few bucks a piece..not too bad - if you saw the other stuff getting sold lately ..well..go check it out - everybody is really friendly over there

Pete,
I checked out the cerealbits website. Boy it is neat. Lots of memories from the 70's. I had forgotten the candy Zots. They were cough drop sized and had powder in the middle that fizzed in your mouth.

Re: Are any of these needed for the 2009 book?
yeah - its a fun page - if you look under show-and-tell you will find one of my stories (the newest post most likely) - actually - I thought I was going to find cans at this last place I posted about - but only saw a few 70s Miller and Schaefers floating around - but yeah - like they are mostly into cereal boxes - but spill into other food boxes and packaging - - here is mostly beer (and now soda) and spills into other random beverage cans sometimes....so between the two....keeps me amused
.....but - yeah - post a few of those over there - (for example the sorts of cans that may amuse the people over there - beer-can wise - would be the despised Billy Beer can and stuff like that - as they collect period collectibles...and you cant get more period than that) ...but yeah - they would love to see these cans posted here - a few of those people have soda cans in their collections and I saw some pretty weird ones - (I saw one of those Batman cola cans by Cott on Flickr - whats the deal with that one?) - actually - Im surprised nobody has some of their cans up on flickr - Im the most lazy non-productive person alive and I have a bunch up because its really free and easy and people make comments about your stuff - I have maybe a dozen or so soda cans in my album but it would be great to see more - or some beer cans....etc...

Re: Are any of these needed for the 2009 book?
I just picked this up off e-bay. If you need a better picture let me know. It is an air sealed can - possibly a test can. It says 8/100 on the lid (see picture).
It is a 10 ounce can.
