Canadian Cans

#1

Post by dtsoc »

Does anyone know of a collector who has more than a few Canadian Soda Cans? I am looking for pictures for the next book edition and would like to siginificantly expand the Canadian listings. I already have quite a few than were shown in the last edition, but I would like to try in fill in some of the wholes from the 50's/60's.
Thanks,
Dave

Dave, I have been slowly acquiring Canadian soda cans and may have some not in the guide. Is this new guide going to be an update to the 2007 guide or will it only be Canadian cans? George

Dave, it also just occured to me that there was one bidder I kept coming up against on EBay for Canadian cans. He used the handle "grandpa-bill" and I think his name may have been Bill Leerson?? I have not seen him on EBay recently, but do you know him? My guess is that he has a nice Canadian collection. George

Hi George,
Thanks - I think Grampa Bill might be a good contact. I am am sure I have an email kicking around. This is going to be for the update. I was considering a Canadian guide, but I don't think there is enough interest. When I have the section updated, I will send a copy to you. I will make it easier to compare.
Thanks again!
Dave T

Dave,

I believe Jeff Haas has a bunch of Canadian cans. Yes Grandpa-bill is Bill Leerson he lives about an 1 1/2 away from me.
Most wanted can finally found!
