New Coca Cola Soda Can Book

#1

Post by dtsoc »

This was an idea I played with a few years back, but never went to far with. It's a Coca-Cola can guide focusing on the Coke cans pre-1980, including all of the known foreign and domestic diamond cans including a few never before pictured! The Coke can section features multiple views of many cans to make it easier to identify them. A lot of material that doesn't appear in the general soda guide! It also includes many of the test cans, all of the known gallons and a special section featuring about 120 of the related Coca-Cola canning products. It's 26 pages - all color. The cover price is $14.95 +$2 shipping. Since I have always discounted on this site, I will over it for 14.00 with free shipping in the U.S. If you have any questions, please give me a shout! It should be back from the printer and ready to ship in a couple of weeks.

Here is a copy of the ad going up on the Soda Spectrum Site which focuses on Coca-Cola products: http://www.sodaspectrum.com/conquest.html

Hey Leon,
Great pics - wait, I lied - wish they were better - I have not been to either museum myself so I have relied on others for these pics. Unfortunately, they are the same pics as the other book showed. They are much larger in this guide though.
There are adjusted prices for all of the cans to better reflect where we are today, especially with the quantity of cans that has come out in the past couple of years.
Hope this helps!
Dave

When I went to the Coca-cola museum in January, there was only one cone-top on display that I could find. The quart was there but not the pint.

Not a clean picture. I forgot my camera on this trip so I had to use my iPhone.

Which Coke Museum, I know of 3 different ones. Only Atlanta Museum has the 16 oz pint cone in collection along with Quart. LEON.

Chicago has the one with the horizontal writing and Atlanta has the two with the slanted writing... I have a nice color pick of the two. The pic I have of the other is from the curator of the other museum...
Anyone have any other shots?

I took about 6 different angles or shots while at the Atalanta coke Museum about 6-7 years back. But, was hard to get a good shot because of light reflection off of glass. I went to the Elizebethtown Coke Museum but was closed. LEON.

Pokey, Thats odd, My Picture of the 2 cones in above post were taken at Atlanta but that was probably in mid 2000 & something maybe 5 years ago. Maybe they re-arranged the Museum since I been there? LEON.

That is possible. The time prior to this last visit that I was in Atlanta was 1975, so I don't know how often or when the museum has been remodeled.

It is a nice book, even though I don't collect coke stuff. It gives me an idea of value if I ever run across something.
I bought the book to pass along to a coke collector I know.
