Pepsi aluminum bottles
Pepsi aluminum bottles

The new pepsi aluminum bottles finally made it to my neck of the woods, but only at the local Walmart so far. These will surely be of interest to aluminum bottle collectors as well as sports collectors. The players, in order, are Steven Jackson, Lawrence Maroney, Plaxico Burress, Antonio Cromartie, Maurice Jones-Drew and Tony Romo. As this is the first of what I expect to be a series, this group should go fast. Heck, the Plaxico is worth a shot.. oh, never mind. The bottle laying down is one of a smaller series that just came out showing older Pepsi can labels. This one is the only one I have seen up here, but I will be looking for the rest. I think there are four all together. Anyway, before someone trys to sell you some for $10 a pop, no pun intended, go get them at a local Walmart for $1.50 each, with the soda still in them.

I'm surprised Pepsi didnt pull the plug on that bottle. And after the drubbing Romo took this season, they would've been better off with a Rex Grossman bottle!!

I picked up a set of the Pepsi NFL cans over the weekend for my son. He really liked them, thanks for the heads-up.

THIS IS NOT YOUR FATHER'S BCCA CHAPTER!!!

R U interested in joining a chapter that covers not only collecting related news, but also brewing industry news, jokes, and stories about the oftentimes hilarious, occasionally tragic events in which those who have had one, or two, or ten too many engage, all written with a sick, twisted demented bent???
