Hi everyone,
Recently on Ebay, there was a grafs grape can with a dark grandpa graf. Was this can the real thing or was it a discolored off-grade can?
Here are a few pics to compare: first the dark grandpa grafs can (front and back)
Now a regular grape:
In my files, I had a collection pic showing another of these - very small photo though - this one is a cherry:
Here is a normal cherry can:
What do you think? New variation? If so, someone got quite a deal for $45... If not, then it's an expensive dumper...

Re: New Grafs Generation or ???
From my Experiance I'm convinced it's a water can, meaning found under water which caused the discoloration. It has some of the tell tale signs giving it away. I seen that one on ebay & passed because of that. LEON.

Re: New Grafs Generation or ???
When I was first asked about it, I also was of the same opinion as Leon...That it was due to discoloring from the elements. However, when I see the other pic of the Cherry, I'm not quite a sure as it looks to be an ongrade can.
I guess you'll have to start another section for your book of these "questionable" cans. It'll be short...just the black face Graf's and the black bill Donald Duck so far.
Speaking of this generation of Graf's cans, has anyone really seen a pre-zip Lemon Lime???
