Soda Collection
Like many of us, I have a side collection of soda cans. They are displayed in my garage along with my Rainier jubilee dumpers. My shelves were crammed and with the recent addition of about 50 new jubilees, something had to give. The solution was to build new shelves for the soda collection to free up some additional space. Here's the collection except for Shasta, Can-o-Pop and Gayla, all of which I have quite a few of - particularly Shasta. For now those stay with the Rainiers.
I like the cones and pick them up when I find them for a few bucks at shows. Only a handful of these such as the Twang, Double Cola and Paradise Club are ones I dumped myself. Soda cones are seldom seen in the Northwest. The flats and pulls on the other hand are almost exclusively cans I've personally dumped. There are maybe five in the picture I did not find myself. I realize in off grade condition, most are only worth a couple bucks but they make a colorful display and are fun to dig.
The main display has been up in my garage for almost 20 years. As you can imagine, the shelves were filthy and there are lots of cobwebs and dust bunnies. The next step before integrating the new Jubilees, is to pull everything down and clean the shelves, walls behind them, and even some of the cans. I'm about 1/3 of the way through that process but it definitely needs doing. The heavy smoke from forest fires chased me inside yesterday before I could get that wrapped up.

Re: Soda Collection
I need to make more room to display more cool PNW soda cans. I only have two shelves in my collection room mixed with my beer stuff.

Re: Soda Collection
Scott, I've been thinking about you and many others with the western wildfires … how close are they to you? How bad is the air and the smoke? Any chance you're looking at an evacuation anytime soon??

Re: Soda Collection
That seems to be the standard for those Sunny Jims. The Black Cherry is super tough to find!
I should come over and get a closer look. It has been too long.
