New Pabst 10oz sheet

#1

Post by dtsoc »

I picked this up today - The Pale Dry version in the book is off-grade and is not a can I own, so I can't check if it has a star or a small MiraCan. The version I bought today has a small MiraCan in the trim area where a star normally appears. The smaller pic is a flat sheet with the star and no MiraCan logo. The later generation had a large MiraCan logo above the star (see the Root Beer example). Do any other examples of the small MiraCan logo in place of the star exist? I've never noticed this before, but there have got to be others. I've shown a pic of each version. The last pic is a large MiraCan Pale Dry Ginger Ale that is still for sale on Ebay - this one is pretty common.

None of mine have the Mira-Can logo inside the line.

Dave,

I haven't seen this one before either. I just purchased a similar sheet and will have it rolled. I will post a picture of my other Pale Dry.

Hi Brent,

I saw that one. Looked nice!

Do you have any access to 10oz lids?

Dave

Dave,

The only 10 oz. lids that I can find are on donor cans. Sent the sheet to be rolled and I will post a picture of all the 10 oz. Ginger Ales variations that I have.
