Need info for a Coke collectors book

#1

Post by Sea Monkey »

We need to buy a Coke collectors book. Is there a "definitive" book for this like the USBC can books? Is there an excepted book as the "go to" so to speak?

It's good for other stuff, but limited when it comes to cans and bottles. I have several Coke Bottles books somewhere, but forgot the name, need to look it up.

As far as Coca-Cola cans, you should get the one I am attempting to make.

For Coke bottle rarity you want the Porter book. Petretti's very limited. LEON.

Yes Dave Tanner's book is great, but it is more pre zip, not much of current cans.
I would like to make one for all USA Coke and Pepsi cans, including all current cans. (All commemorative Six Flags, etc.)

Thanks guys. I am looking more for trays, signs, and nicknacks. Bottles and cans would not be the major focus.

@Sea Monkey
Then my suggestion would fit quite well.

Do you need to buy it? Most large libraries will have it in stock. Otherwise I would look at buying either a 10th or 11th edition for a fraction of the price. You should be able to figure out what's rare and what's not with either of those volumes. Prices were out of date by the time the book was published. Look at ebay or Live Auctioneers for recent prices.
