Marked as an R3 in the guide?...but only valued at $5-7....I never understood how rare can = low value, I guess because it's a mid 70's can.

06 guide says $50-$60. That seems more like it.

@dtsoc
It appears you may have a typo on the valu in the printed and online guide for this can?

I have both books. 2006 book is higher than the newer version. Never looked at the on-line guide

$5-7 online guide....there are a few R3 cans with low values, maybe they are just missing the 0's :smt017

This is a strange situation where I don't think rarity was reflected in price. The last few Jefferson Club cans that have showed up, had almost no interest, selling below $10, including a 1+ orange of mine that sold for $7.27 in 2014. Given that, I'm not sure these still qualify as R3 cans, but they are certainly tough to find, if you want one! If anything, pricing has gotten more wide ranged. DT

Thanks Dave, Yes I agree these odd situations come up with a few cans now, who knows that can could sell for a 100 on ebay :smt005
