Group of Pantry Pride cans

#1

Post by dtsoc »

This turned out to be a really awesome group of Pantry Pride cans. Very dirty with tape residue, oil, paint, etc... It all came off! I was not expecting that!

Top lids cuts out, but a really tough generation. The orange is a new flavor for the guide. Awesome cans to add to the collection!

I'm thinking about stretching, but that is beyond my skill level. Not cheap either. I will probably end up doing all but the cola. Unfortunately, I didn't take any before pics... was only wondering if they would clean up!

Dave, the flange of the can is still intact under the rims of the cut out lids. You can remove the cut out lids and have replacement lids rolled back on to the correct height, but the gear marks will still be visible.

Thanks, but one better is... if you remove both lids and slightly adjust the flange location, you can hide the teeth marks. I just don't have the equipment to reflange.

Here is a look at the orange and root beer after the stretch. Very hard to tell teeth marks ever existed. Heights are 100%.
