Well this is the generation after the 12oz cone tops, basically the same graphic...they came in ginger ale, cola, orange and root beer. The guide only has the cola in 10oz flat, for some reason Dave does not have the ginger ale in there and certainly won't have this orange.
This ginger ale was a PT....as is my orange, but you rarely find this early pull top on any of the Canadian sodas cans.

So it's a new flavor for the guide.....the root beer has yet to make an appearance!

Well for Canada it's pretty early and dates to about 1966. This is a line of cans I have to show the progression of lids from American can. The Canada dry is from Continental. Even finding a can with a top like the third and fourth can has is tough enough, let alone a small ring....it's a double rarity!...and the first that I've seen.

You can see here on this close up that the indent for the pull ring was for the small ring, short lived...I'm surprised this PT even showed up, I would have expected to see a flat top first. Dave Fowler seen the can and figures its about as tough as the cone on grade.
