FOUND. Another unknown R0 Soda can?

#1

Post by Leon »

Started a new Job in Detroit. In the run down slum area. The good news is I get 1 hour lunch break & drive around looking for old run down dilapitated abandoned houses & buildings which there is a large supply of. Peeking under a front porch I find this Rusty flat top. Can't read it but appears to be a soda can. I throw it on floor in back of my car & it rolls around there with 3 other rusty flats for about a month. It was solid when I found it & put it back there. I pull it out recently to clean & find it has developed some weak holey spots. Anyways, It cleans up to be a R0 variation of another R0 can I have. Not in Daves Soda book but like T400-1. LEON.

Just want to double check - can you see if it has a zip code or not? This generation appears with and without. It's going in as an R0 either way (T400-1 or T400-1A) - Merry Christmas!

Daniel,

Yes Virginia has reciprocity with Alaska. Back in 2015, the new Virginia Attorney General unilaterally cancelled the reciprocity agreements the state had with 25 other states. The legislature passed a bill almost immediately to restore those agreements, and then passed another bill that allowed VA to recognize a valid permit from any other state. :smt071

As for Civil War relics, my brother is a land surveyor in Manassas VA. They regularly use metal detectors to find property line markers. He and his crews have found buckets of mini-balls, belt buckles, cap pins, and one of his guys found a musket in beautiful condition, wrapped in oilcloth in the foundation of a collapsed building way out in the sticks. So there's plenty of that stuff still out there.
