Prohibition = Vintage Soda Recipes

#1

Post by schd0276 »

Hello there,

Hoping someone out there may be able to help. There was a brewery in Faribault Minnesota called the Fleckenstine Brewery. During the years of prohibition they had to switch to soda instead of beer to stay open. After prohibition ended they switched back to beer but still sold soda. Eventually the brewery closed and the recipes vanished.. that is until now. My father has the original SODA recipe book from the brew master himself.

I'm wondering if anyone out there knows a place / person that would try to re-create a soda as a one time taste test.

Look forward to looking at the replies.

Derek

You could ask Fizz Soda Shop in Johnson City, TN. Don't know the number or much about it but my niece says they make their own soda.
Interested in all flat and Cone Soda and Water cans.
